After cleaning, chroming, roller coating, baking and other processing, the surface of aluminum coil is coated with various colors of paint, which is also known as color coated aluminum coil. Because of its light weight, bright color, easy processing and forming, no rust and other advantages, colored aluminum is widely used in aluminum composite panels, honeycomb panels, thermal insulation panels, aluminum curtain walls, shutters, rolling shutters, aluminum-magnesium-manganese roofing systems, aluminum ceilings, household appliances, downpipes, aluminum cans and many other fields.

Coated aluminum coil, due to different processing and use purposes, can be simply divided into:

Because of the paint coated surface, divided into polyester (PE) coated aluminum coil and fluorocarbon (PVDF) coated aluminum coil; epoxy roller coated aluminum coil. Of course, there are also one side coated with fluorocarbon, the other side coated with polyester; and even both sides are coated with fluorocarbon.

Because of the thickness of the coating, it can be divided into single-coated (4-20 microns); double-coated (25-28 microns); 3-coated (35-38 microns).

Because of the surface pattern, it is also known as wood grain aluminum coil and stone grain aluminum coil.

Aluminum coils are also embossed with hammer (stucco), diamond and map patterns. The width of embossed aluminum coil can be up to 1300mm and the thickness can be up to 1.2mm.

Because of the different uses, it is also usually used as roofing material (aluminum-magnesium-manganese roofing system), ceiling material (aluminum alloy ceiling), home appliance board (used in the interior and exterior of household appliances, in line with the EU Rohs standard), food material (food-grade chrome and roller coating, in line with the U.S. FDA standards), brushed plate (the surface is brushed), and so on.
